Before the beta
How Civalyze got here
Civalyze has been in build since late 2025. Rather than publish a year of weekly notes after the fact, here's the short version of what the product became.
**Ask, and see the working**
- Ask a question in plain English and get the number first, a chart chosen to fit the data, and the exact query that produced it
- "How Civalyze knows" shows the sources and calculations behind an answer, so a colleague can check it in seconds
**Your data, connected carefully**
- Connect PostgreSQL, MySQL or Google Sheets, or upload CSV, Excel and Parquet files
- Choose which tables Civalyze may read — connections are read-only, and credentials are encrypted before they're stored
**Turn answers into something durable**
- Dashboards, saved questions, reusable question templates, and a Data Dictionary that teaches Civalyze your business terms
- Share a dashboard with a link, or export your results
**Built for teams**
- Organizations with roles and invitations, so a workspace can be shared without everyone seeing everything
**Trust, in the open**
- Two-factor authentication, breached-password screening, a published privacy policy, terms, and a public list of every service that helps run Civalyze
- A 14-day trial that needs no credit card
